TLC Workshops
In recent years, budgets have come under more scrutiny, because of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Clients wanted activities focused on ROI and Business Culture issues. The activities below have clear objectives, with debriefings and action plans.
All these exercises can be done indoors, in a conference room or meeting room, and require little physical ability.
Here is a sampling:
Let’s Make a Deal - 60 minutes
What are the concerns of a supplier?, a consumer? a salesperson? Individuals take on the roles of supplier, sales force or customer. To win, individuals need to be flexible, creative, and assertive. Do those traits come to mind when thinking of sales? This interactive and energizing activity has departments examining the relationships involved in the sales process from different perspectives.
Solve the Crime - 30-60 minutes
This energizing activity has everyone contributing to the decisions. Everyone has a clue but how best can a consensus be achieved, which is it the best way to proceed? When you are out of your natural element, what do you base your decisions upon? What about group synergy in reference to outcomes?
Break the Code - 90 minutes
This activity involves solving a phrase (no there is no wheel involved). Teams have a budget, they can buy letters and they are losing money every minute. The only way to win is solve the phases and the faster the better. This activity takes communication, cooperation, decision making, problem solving and teamwork.
And there are many more...

Fun & Games Workshops
These are the activities are used primarily for bonding, boosting morale or rewarding attendees. These are the murder mysteries, scavenger hunts, and skits. Some of these may involve physical activity, but nothing strenuous. I have added several more activities to this list, the most popular of which are TV Game Shows.

Feudin' on the High Seas - 2 hours
Imagine boarding a cruise liner to relax and "rub elbows" with the cast of Family Feud. Well first you will need to solve the murder that just occurred on board, and your suspects are this cast of misfits. When the murder is solved, then you will get to play The Fabulous Feud.

Makin' Music -30-45 minutes
Just like it says, teams are going to create music. Each member of the team will be involved in playing the song. This is a fun exercise in cooperation, listening and teamwork.
Face Off - 45-60 minutes
This is a game show where two teams at a time will face off to answer questions about TV, Movies, Music, Sports, History and more... The competition can be fierce. This involves decision making, strategy and quick thinking.
The Meeting - 1-3 hours
Oh how we hate meetings! This is a scavenger hunt with a twist. To get credit for your "findings", you will have to schedule a meeting. You better be there on time....This uses communication, strategic planning, delegation and leadership.
The Ultimate Game Show - 60 minutes
This combines a little from all the favorite game shows. It is not if you know answer, but who can think of it first. This game includes clues, surveys, sound bites and more.

If you like TV Game Shows, we got 'em!
