1. It's awkward. Walking up to strangers and starting a conversation can be a daunting. What do I say? How long should I speak? How do I exist?
2. It can be superficial. Who should I meet? How can I tell if I'm wasting my time? I feel I'm just shaking hands and handing out cards. I really don't get to know them and they don't get to know me.
3. It can feel like selling. Sometimes it seems like they just want to sell me something. It's all about them and what they want and need. I feel like I'm just a prospect. Why should I do business with someone I just met.
